Frequently Asked Questions

This page will provide some of the more common questions and answers about WeddingMusicFinder.com. Don't see your question answered here? Let us know! We will constantly add to this page as frequently asked questions get, well, asked.

Question:
What does BETA mean?

Answer:
Beta is a computer term that means we aren't ready for prime-time just yet. It means that we are "live" and you can poke around, but that we are still making changes and working out the kinks before we begin our grand opening launch for all the world to see. You can't break anything, so go through the site and feel free to purchase anything you see for sale - everything is working to that capacity. Not all of our inventory is up and we are testing new features is all BETA means.

Question:
What does WeddingMusicFinder.com do exactly?

Answer:
We help brides and grooms (and anyone helping them) find the music for their wedding ceremony and reception. With our experience, brides can stop sifting through the vast iTunes and Amazon.com databases and find exactly what they are looking for by using our intuitive categories and sub-categories of music. We not only provide the songs and links to purchase and download them, but when necessary, we explain WHY we recommend a specific song or version of a song.

Question:
Am I buying music only from WeddingMusicFinder.com?

Answer:
No. WeddingMusicFinder.com only directly sells custom music that we get directly from an unsigned musician or band. Those songs are placed in our shopping cart (see the upper right of the screen) and sold by us. The other two resources for music downloads are iTunes and Amazon.com. We couldn't possibly pretend to offer a complete Wedding Music Finder web site without offering commercial music - there are too many awesome wedding songs out there. Offering MP3 downloads from iTunes and Amazon.com provides our brides with two very reputable companies that we know for sure offer a wide variety and high-quality digital audio files...legally.

We are musicians, so we are very protective of the rights of music publishing. We do not condone illegal music downloads and we hope that the brides who visit this site will respect the musicians who created these awesome songs and purchase them legally. Not only is it good karma, it also ensures that you receive a quality audio file - we have heard horror stories of illegally downloaded music ruining a first dance (static, skipping, radio station call tags - it happens) or ceremony.

Question:
What is with all the sarcasm in the song descriptions?

Answer:
What sarcasm?
